Take the Avenue Thiers on your left as you leave the station for 200 metres, then take the Avenue Jean Médecin for about 500 metres until you arrive at the Boulevard Dubouchage. Then turn left. The hotel is 250 metres further on on your right.

This walk should take about 10 to 13 minutes but will show you some of the most lively and famous avenues of Nice.

Journey 1 by Tram

Take the tram “ Pont Michel “ direction and get off at the “ Jean Médecin “ stop. Turn to your left,and when you get to the commercial centre Nice Etoile, carry on straight for about 400 metres. The Hotel Ellington will be on your right.

Take the bus, Line no°. 4, direction “ Hôpital Pasteur “. Get off at the stop “ Victor Hugo “.Go down the Rue Lamartine then turn to your left. The Hotel Ellington will be several metres further on on your right.

Take the bus, Line n°. 17, direction “ Monastère/Cimiez “ .Get off at the stop “ Victor Hugo “. Go down the Rue Lamartine and turn to your left. The Hotel Ellington is several metres further on on your right..

The ride should only take about 5 minutes, the Hotel Ellington being in the centre of Nice.

If you arrive at Terminal 2, take the free bus to Terminal 1.
At Terminal 1, take either the Line n°. 23 or 52 to the SNCF train station. Then take the tram in the direction of “Pont Michel” and get off at the “Jean Médécin “ stop. Take a turn to your left until you reach the commercial centre Nice Etoile, then continue straight for about 400 metres and the Hotel Ellington will be on your right.

Take the exit n°. 50 on the A8 motorway signed “ Nice Promenade des Anglais “ . Continue straight on running alongside the sea. Go past the Place Massena, then take the first road on the left : Rue Alberti. The Hotel Ellington is at the end of this road where it meets the Boulevard Dubouchage at n°. 25.

On the A8 motorway, come off at the exit “ Nice Est “ . Follow the directions for the “ Palais des Congrès Acropolis “ . Turn right at the Boulevard Carabacel, then take the 5^th road on the left on to the Boulevard Dubouchage. The Hotel Ellington is in this street on your left at no. 25.

Get to the Promenade des Anglais and carry straight on. Turn left on the Boulevard du Général Leclerc and turn into the Allée de la Résistance et de la Déportation. Continue to the Rue Alberti. The Hotel Ellington is at the end of this road where it meets the Boulevard Dubouchage at no°. 25.
